Trojan horse...Win32:delf-KCX...Any suggestion to get rid of it?

Avast found the virus into 4 files…

1)C:documents and settings/datosdeprograma/symatec/nortonantivirus/quarantine
2)C:documents and settings/datosdeprograma/symatec/nortonantivirus/quarantine
3)System volum information restore
4)System volum information restore

Any idea on what i should do to get rid of it?

the first two seem to be quarantined files from Norton Antivirus it is not wise to run 2 antivirus programs at one time as for the other 2 they seem to be in system restore points please turn off system restore which should delete the restore points and then rescan with avast or you can wait for a professional to come along and help

I suggest:

  1. Remove NAV through Add/Remove programs from Control Panel. Boot.
  2. Use Norton Removal Tool for Windows 2000/XP/Vista. Boot.
  3. Install avast! (or repair the installation) and boot.

First, follow Tech’s advice and then do as Justin suggested … turn off system restore > reboot your computer > turn on system restore again.
