Trojan Sirefef-ZT

Hello,

Background shields kept reporting that they had blocked a trojan horse a few days ago and has been doing this consistently since. I believe that this trojan got onto my computer after visiting this dodgy website: www.crackinn.com/d/b/d/ghost+control/ or this one: http://pushtraffic.net/TDS/?wmid. Both seem malicious so I wouldn’t follow the link, the sticky just said that it would be a good idea to post where the malware came from. It is the File System Shield that is reporting the trojan. The file that the trojan seems to have integrated itself with is an application located here: C:\Windows\System32. The full name of the trojan is Threat: Win32: Sirefef-ZT [Trj].

Please tell me what logs I need to provide and how I can remove this malware it would be very much appreciated, thank you.

see Essexboys sticky guide on top in this section…

attch logs from AdwCleaner / Malwarebytes / OTL / aswMBR

Here they all are, apologies for not including originally.

And here’s the last two (because of the limit of 4 attatchments).

and aswMBR…

Let me know if this stops the alerts

[*]When finished, it shall produce a log for you.
[*]Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.

Notes:

  1. Do not mouse-click Combofix’s window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.
  2. Do not “re-run” Combofix. If you have a problem, reply back for further instructions.
  3. If after the reboot you get errors about programmes being marked for deletion then reboot, that will cure it.

Please make sure you include the combo fix log in your next reply as well as describe how your computer is running now

I originally ran aswMBR but it didn’t complete because my computer bluescreened due to a fatal error. After restarting I started to run the repair with the script you provided, and that stopped after the computer restarted after a critical error was discovered. So I ran the same script with OTL in safe mode and it completed. There have been no more trojan’s detected by either Malwarebytes or Avast since the repair. I also ran the combofix. Then I re-ran aswMBR and it didn’t seem to detect anything malicious (I’ve included the log), so everything seemed good. However as I started writing this (most of it saved) my computer blue screened again which is rather worrying. Here’s what it said after my computer restarted:
