I play wow and this keeps coming up acorrding to their scan… i have run a scan and it isnt showing up on my computer… how can i remove this when Avast isnt finding it anywhere? Thanks

what do you mean their scan ? What program is detecting this ?

It is their Launcher. It isnt an actualy anti virus i guess but It is coming up as something of a known virus for them.

Have you checked you computer with Malwarebytes ? update it before you scan

ok so interesting about this paticular virus… Avast didnt catch it… that is until I brought up the load screen for the game… I ran a scan with it up and running and BAM!!! Found like 3 infected files… It was disgiusing itself as a msnmsg.exe file… So thankfully I was able to remove it once I ran a complete scan and shut down the game… It would not however let me shut it down with the game up so apparently it was only active when World of Warcraft was up… Just thought I would update that…
