Trojan!! Started today..........8.28.12

I Attempted to change the settings in my Google account using Firefox v.14 and IE v.9 browsers and I get:

Infection Details
URL: https://www.google.com/settings/_/ac-sta
Process: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\f…
Infection: JS:Blacole-AV [Trj]

Avast blocks all access.

When I do the same functions in Comodo Chrome…THERE IS NO TROJAN !!!

Similar problems with this trojan in this thread

You might want to scramble that link in your post too in case the threat is real

The same (JS:Blacole-AV [Trj]) is being reported when I log into my banking acount. If this is in fact a false positive, then it needs to be taken care of QUICKLY. If it is NOT a false positive, then I need to call my bank and tell them someone has infected their website with a trojan. -kd5-

Fixed update definitions now please

I am very unhappy after spending Many hours testing my computer and also seeking info about the Blacole-AV trojan alert that began occurring at 7:00 am CT today - and Only when I logged into my bank acct.

The definition updates from Avast have become sloppy the past few months and have caused a lot of problems for me.

This is why I will probably never upgrade to the paid Avast. It USED to be a great antivirus but this year it has become a problem Too Many Times… :o/

Only a week ago it began blocking ALL websites but allowed me to have POP email access. And that has happened 2 or 3 times this year - all due to Avast.

I probably will be switching to a different antivirus in the near future.

Thanks for the quality service in years past - too bad that those are the good old days now.
