My Avast virus scanner says I have Win32: Trojan-gen {VB} in my C:\System Volume Information \restore {9DFDC7BF-3B3A-41AF-
I tell the pop up message to delete the infected file but It keeps coming back. How can I get rid of this permanently?
As has been told already many many times on this board:
1] Disable system restore
2] Reboot
3] Problem solved.
Start > Control Panel > System > System restore > Disable
Click Apply
Enable it again (if you wish)
Click Ok
