I guess I should have known that any company with a website that doesn’t have an online contact page isn’t worth very much. My computer was infected with this…" Trojan:Win32/Vundo.IB" Avast couldn’t find it. I installed new definition updates to Windows Defender and it found and removed it right away.
I was going to send Avast a quick note letting them know. But since they don’t like to be bothered I’ll just tell everyone here. Windows Defender is better, and it’s free.
Alwil team contact page: http://www.avast.com/eng/how-to-contact-alwil-software.html
The email is there… support@avast.com or, for virus information, virus@avast.com
It is right there on the home page, see image.
Welcome to the forums, booter.
As shown above by Tech & David, it is easy to contact avast. Tech gave you the actual links while David gave you a photo of where on the web page the information can be found.
Also, as you have done above, you can post the same information here where many of us, including official avast team members, can give you the help you need. Vundo is a very tough problem to tackle but, if you would search this forum, you will find that the problem has been resolved many times.
So, I think your comments above are a little off.
