i have a trojan called c:\crash.reg and cannot get rid of it. Mcafee help technician sent me here. Can anyone help me, I can’t get rid of it
Strange that McAfee would send you to a competitors forums, so I can only assume that you are using McAfee so some of the information contained here for avast anti-virus may not be relevant.
You can check out this thread which is non-specific and relates to crash.reg and the Win32:RegZon trojan although you don’t give the virus name or your OS. Follow it through.

Did you try running avast Cleaner (standalone cleaner application)?
Can you install avast? (or you’re using McAfee?)
