Hello,
since over 3 weeks I always get a trojan called “yhqubo.exe”
I also tried the Virus Cleaner! I’m always connected to the internet
so I can upgrade Avast every day. I’m also cleaning my temp but the
virus is coming everyday. Avast warns me, when I’m infected.
So I also tried to clean it but it doesn’t function.
When I’m infected, I can’t do anything coz CPU is 100% then.
I have got WinXP and Avast Home Edition. The Virus was in:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\yhqubo.exe
Greez Arwen
What is the name of the trojan?
Have you tried a boot-time scan?
Run a boot time scan as Spyros suggests, then also a double check with this free anti-Trojan program:

‘yhqubo.exe’ is just a random filename used by the malware. As Spyros asked you, does avast! tell you a name for the malware?
You should also do a thorough spyware scan. Different spyware scanners find different spyware, so it’s worth using at least three. I recommend Webroot, Ad-Aware and Spybot for a start.
Ad-Aware: http://www.lavasoft.de/
Spybot Search & Destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/
Webroot Spy Sweeper: http://www.download.com/Webroot-Spy-Sweeper/3000-8022_4-10373771.html
MS AntiSpyware: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=321CD7A2-6A57-4C57-A8BD-DBF62EDA9671&displaylang=en
Yahoo! Anti-Spy: http://toolbar.yahoo.com/
X-Cleaner Free: http://www.xblock.com/download-freeware.php
If you haven’t got a firewall, you should download one while you are downloading the anti-spyware programs. Scan your computer offline, then immediately turn on XP’s firewall or install your firewall.
You can find some links to free firewalls and info about XP’s firewall here:

As soon as you reconnect to the internet, visit the Microsoft update site and download every critical update you find.
