trojan

Hi can anyone tell me how to remove a trojan from my system this is the information avast gives me,

win32 trojan-gen
windows\system32\iifDsron.dll

when avast brings this up it will not let me send it to the chest i get a message that the program is in use so i ask it to delete it i have to do this a number of times before it goes then a short time latter it comes back.
Has anyone else had this if so how did you sort it ?.

Try a boot time scan with avast! Right click the scanner screen, select ‘schedule a boot time scan’ and reboot when requested.

If still having problems, post a HijackThis! log.

I looked the file up on google with 0 results. Looks suspicious. Quite unknown for a generic signature of a trojan.

Upload the file to VirusTotal and post the results. Other AV scanners should identify this infection.

I don’t think it is unusual (for any signature generic or otherwise) if there are no hits on a google search for the file name, that to me is suspicious in its own right.

To me it looks like the generic signature is doing its job.
