Trojan0access and Trojan.Dropper deteceted by Malwarebytes!

Hello,

Thank you for your help with stopping the alert of Malware/Trojan Blocked. Now I’m facing two other issue, please assist. First, everytime I run Malwarebytes scan, it would detect a Trojan.Dropper. Malwarebytes would solve but for a couple hours, if I run the scan again, it would detect the same thing again, so i guess, there’s must be something still in the system and re-creating itself :frowning: . And tonight, I just ran it again and found 1 Trojan.Dropper, and two Trojan0access. Am I in serious problem?

Beside that, whenever I reboot my laptop, Avast would alert some suspicious software. I’m attaching the window for your convenience and a Malwarebytes log.

Thank you so much. I just want to feel secure in my laptop again

You have an underlying infection that is recreating the file/s causing the repeat detections - This needs further analysis by a malware removal specialist:
Go to this topic http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0 for information on Logs to assist in cleaning malware. Use the information about getting and using the tools and attach the logs here, not in the LOGS topic.

EDIT: I have reread your MBAM log and these MBAM detections are in the Combofix and OTL quarantine areas (they aren’t active), so presumably you have already run these tools ?

These tools should really only be run under guidance of a malware removal specialist. Once an infection is cleared up (if that was the reason for running these tools) the malware removal specialist would/should have removed the tools to prevent this sort of thing.

I will deal with the autosandbox issue once we have dealt with the more important issues above.

Hi DavidR,

Yes I already did the process to get the logs and have essexboy helped me out with removing Avast alerts of Malware/Trojan Blocked, using OTL and ComboFix. I earlier post had the subject “Please help with Avast’s pops up Malware/Trojan Blocked”

Originally I used Mcfee for my antivirus protection but got attacked by Security Shield, so I used Malwarebytes and Rkill to fix that problem. I also use TDssKiller for rookit and FixTDss which I guess didn’t help. So I came to this forum and got help by one of the specialist. The alerts has stopped but the problem mentioned above still there. Am I having too many tools in the system?

Thank you so much in advance.

Essexboy will be back later in the day (after work) and if after 24 hours running you aren’t experiencing any further avast alerts or symptoms he will advise on how to remove the tools, etc.

There may be some remnants after the McAfee uninstall - Uninstall possible remnants of previously installed AVs see, http://singularlabs.com/uninstallers/security-software/, this has a collection of manufactures removal tools, so that should remove any remnants, registry, etc. McAfee is item 22a/b/c in the list depending on the version you were using.

The file being detected appears to be a false positive based on the frequency of the file and is just an alert from Avast before you run it

Did I give the clean up routine after we fixed the problem as they are in a quarantine

No, her other topic is awaiting your input, http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=101429.msg811550#msg811550.

Hi all,

The last stage I did was fixed with ComboFix and post the log up here. I am not sure what you mean by clean up routine  please advise. For the Mcfee, I did use the Mcfee removal tool but guess it wasn’t the right version?.. how can I tell which version was on my system :frowning: ?

Thank you guys.

Ah OK I am wading through my new posts at the moment… Be with you soon ;D
