Avast has detected and continues to detect the win32:trojano-1165 in a file called dnsip.dll located in the folder c:\windows\security. Everytime I attempt to delete or put in chest it comes up as in use by a process access is denied. I have tried in safe mode in ms-dos mode and it makes no difference. I am in real trouble as i believe this worm to be a key logger PLEASE HELP !!! ???
Hi and welcome, first place i would try is running a boot scan. then almost nothing is in use so you get a better chance to delete or move. failing that have you tried Avast virus cleaner? if yes and it still wont budge then tool of last resort is killbox http://www.downloads.subratam.org/KillBox.zip
good luck
Hi agentorange,
Try toolbarcop and it will certainly solve your problem there. Get it here:
