Trojans can not be repaired only deleted. So delete it.
Thanks for the reply. It seems that Avast can not delete this thing. :-[
however it seems that Kaspersky antivirus programme can do the trick. :-* Maybe Im wrong or maybe Kaspersky is a better product than awast is… What is the use of warning against a virus and not be able to delete it ?
Maybe Im just daft.
Will I be censored now ??
I have never had avast have any trouble deleting any trojans or viruses. Was the trojan in a compressed file (zip or rar), or anything else that may have made a difference?
Avast came up with a warning about trojano 180. After thaty there was a fairly constant constant It was not possible to move or delete it… Kaspersky killed it. Zap! (not zip)
So the kill was performed by disabling avast using a demo of Kaspersky and that was it…
Greetings Earthlings:
Thanks 4 the feedback on the trojan0-180.
Ive got a 600 Mhz PentIII w a 80g HD, divided into a 6M for win ME & 74M for the good stuff
Had the same symptoms after a bout of cyber-porn clips
at TIVEA.COM. Never had problems there before. Im a 6’9’’ former nerd who isn’t a “Lil Billy”. Never been scared of my registry & dosen’t think DOS is Scaaaaary
I did have a VRDB (virus data base) made. Avast found the virus as it was downloading to the media player. The screen froze. After a full scan on high settings, Avast spoptted it in the Restore Temp file. Still can’t Del. Turned restore off & back on to clear restore pts. Still there. Used a boot diskt o start in just DOS and Couldn’t DEL. Said cant find file. I finally seemed to dDEL it in DOS. The #$^&^&$% virus (edited for the squeemish) returned to my restore temp file (both C & D drives) and the windows temp file. The virus must have altered the file name to keep windows from finding the file. Not sure logic in seeing it with the DIR command yet not the DEL one. Tried the Kaspersky free trial after uninstalling Avast. No luck. Didn’t even spot it. Same with the TREND housecall free scan. Finally FDISKed & reformatted the HD. Oh joy.
Oh, i saw a reply on deleting in dos using safe mode. Thanks MADMAX. Forgot restore shut down in SAFE. Too late. Will try next time im cyber-reamed. Hard to stay away from pix of chix. Life’s a beach, at least in Calif
Oh hacker. I now your out there.
If you see a 6’9’’ tile setter walking towards you. Run away. You deserve a visit from uncle FREDDY, a real man’s hacker. Ive got a PS2 as backup so you were only a minor inconvenience, kind of like a foot fungus. If your not skilled enough to create a good game, I understand.
Nobodys perfect.
Unlike Adolph, Id rather love my neighbors instead if hate. Maybe some guy with a copy of the Watchtower will cure your brain. I Won’t lose sleep. Not over U :o
Enough light venting
Good luck Y’all. Keep on Cyber-Truckin’
Marblezilla has left Tokyo ???
Hello-
Try turning off system restore, rebooting into safe-mode then delete those files that couldn’t be deleted.
Also run a couple of on-line scanners.I have links to some on my site.
