I removed Avast Antivirus (following instruction on the officical web-site), however Windows Default Firewall refuses to launch anyway. It says that Avast is still installed, despite it is not being a true. How do I fix this? I tried to edit a setting for block of Windows Firewall itself, but it didn’t work for some reason

Did you use the Avast Removal Tool in Safe Mode?

The tool will provide safe mode option, choose YES
Any other security related software installed/uninstalled recently?
All Remnant from previously installed Anti Virus software must be removed before installing new software, Windows uninstaller is not always sufficient. Remnants will cause unexpected issues/conflicts
