Trouble Downloading AVAST 2012 (7)

I’ve been trying to download the latest AVAST, but everytime I complete a download and try to run it I get an error 1006 (000003EE). This usually happens after I try to extract the file. Any ideas how to get a file that will work? My internet is extremely slow and there is no way of getting around this - maybe a different site to try downloading from?

  1. Get a download manager. I use Gigaget when I need to use one.
