I’d really appreciate some help here please.
I am trying to Download Avast Pro but when I click on the “Download” button it doesn’t give me the option to “Run” or “Save”. Only “Save” or “Cancel”.
Tried the Save option but then it won’t let me do anything with the download.
Any ideas on what I am doing wrong please?
As you can see I am a complete novice with this.

Where are you downloading it from ?
Save is the correct option you don’t want to Run, you should then get a pop-up to navigate to the location you want to save it or it may default to saving to the desktop. That is however dependant on your browser and or OS settings.
What browser and OS are you using ?
What do you mean by “it won’t let me do anything with the download” and what are you doing exactly ?

Thanks for your reply.
It turns out I shouldn’t have tried to download it while in Firefox which is my browser (Windows XP is my OP). Firefox kept saving it to the desktop then I couldn’t run it as I kept getting an error message when I right clicked and selected “Run” so that I could enter my key.
It’s now downloaded into Programs using Internet Explorer and I’ve managed to enter my key.
