Trouble renewing Avast 5.1.889

Im having difficulty getting Avast to renew.

I click Maintenance, Subscription, Renew Now and a new window appears “Renew your protection now and stay safe”. However if i click the green button nothing happens so i cant renew. Have I disabled something that needs to open a new window.

Try repair of avast:

  1. Go to Control Panel and open “Add/Remove programs”.
  2. Find “avast! Free Antivirus” and click “Change/Remove” button.
  3. Choose “Repair” and click next button.
  4. After finishing it reboot your PC.

If this way does not work, please add more details about your problems and computers (OSes, avast’s version etc.)

I am having the same issue. I have taken the steps you have mentioned but they did not make a difference. I am running windows Vista SP1 and avast version 5.1.889 Pro Antivirus. Appreciate any help…
