trouble to uninstal avast endpoint protection suite + on windows 2003 server

Windows 2003 server, when i run avastclear.exe in safe mode:

“le point d’entrée de procédure DecodePointer est introuvable dans KERNELL32.DLL”

“the procedure entry point is not found in DecodePointer KERNELL32.DLL”

this problem could be related to not updated operating system (http://www.sophos.com/it-it/support/knowledgebase/9000/9100/120455.aspx)
Have you installed the service pack on windows server 2003?
