Trouble with PRO Demo and IE on Vista

I had installed demo version of Avast Pro and after uninstalling the demo I could not run any script or click open any pop up (pop up blocker is off) using IE any more. If i install Avast Pro again the IE works as expected. I don’t want to use Avast Pro for now, so please suggest how I could remove it with IE working as expected.

Strange, I think you should uninstall avast! pro and re install IE.

What version of IE have you got?

Ok you got IE7. Unfortunatly I could not find a Downloadable file for IE7 for Vista

avast does not block scripts but just scan them.

  1. Uninstall avast from Control Panel first.
  2. Boot.
  3. Use Avast Uninstall for complete uninstallation.
  4. Boot.
