Trouble with Win32:Atraps-PF[tjr] and Win32:Malware-gen

Earlier this morning, this irritating program ended up on my computer. I keep getting “reports” that the virus/trojan horse has been blocked and “moved to the chest” and that “no further action is necessary”. Well, when it’s notifying me every five minutes, further action most definitely does seem necessary. So what action should I take?

follow this guide attach (not copy and paste) logs from malwarebytes / OTL / aswMBR

[*]When finished, it shall produce a log for you.
[*]Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.

Notes:

  1. Do not mouse-click Combofix’s window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.
  2. Do not “re-run” Combofix. If you have a problem, reply back for further instructions.
  3. If after the reboot you get errors about programmes being marked for deletion then reboot, that will cure it.

Please make sure you include the combo fix log in your next reply as well as describe how your computer is running now

My computer appears to be running fine, though a bit slow. Truth be told, the problem appeared to have stopped a few days ago, hence why it took this long for me to reply. But this morning the problem started up again, so here I am.

Could you run a fresh OTL scan please selecting all users and let me know what the problems are

We had another “Avast blocked this program” type warning involving a RootKit or something like that. We haven’t gotten another warning, so it’s either gone or Avast isn’t catching it now.
