I have Avast on my computer , obviously. But my issue is i had some updates on my computer to download and install so i allowed them, but one of the updates will not install. Now I’m not a computer tech by any means, but i did get the error code which is .1 result for “WindowsUpdate_00000646” and i was wondering if anyone could assist me with getting everything back to a working order before i get infected with a virus. Any help is appreciated .

um , well … it’s not windows it’s the avast it keeps saying it can’t install one of the updates …
But then how can you get that windows udpate error? try running the tool (fixit) available in the microsoft support link I have given in my previous post.
download the latest vps udpate from avast site and try installing it again.
we have to keep trying things.
