Can anybody tell me if I can trust Iyogi Tech support?
They are a third party support provider for avast. Though beware there have been occasions where the support helper will try and sell you other services over and above the free avast support service.
If asked decline any sign up for additional support services. If you feel it is high pressure sales, still decline and get back on the forums.
That said, you should be able to get prompt help right here on the forums.
iYogi will give you a sales pitch during the support call for their services. You are not required to purchase their service to receive support. They do have the advantage of being able to remote control your computer and troubleshoot the issue for you, where the forum users are not able to remote control your computer and can only walk you through the troubleshooting.
Any users with iYogi issues can post on the forum, but are encouraged to contact the person responsible as a liaison where action can be taken further between Avast and iYogi…his name is Adam Riley and his email is riley at avast dot com (no spaces) and he works for Avast.
The Avast forum is available 24/7 and gives quick responses. The Avast Evangelists have a variety of experience and are knowledgable with the Avast products, as well as being users of the products themselves.

+1 They used high pressure tactics with me…I didn’t bite. I wish avast would turn iyogi loose. ???
