Trying to install keylogger, avast not allowing...

Ok I am trying to install a keylogger on my own computer because I feel like someone keeps going on it whenever I’m away, so I’m trying to see what they are doing. I have the program and everything, but every time I try and install it, avast keeps deleting it. I have the free version of Avast and like I said, this is my own personal computer so it’s not against the law.

Any help would be appreciated!

Use the avast exclusion lists:

  1. For the resident, File Shield advanced settings > Exclusions.
  2. For the on-demand, avast settings > Exclusions.
I’ll add the full path of where you’re installing the keylogger and end it with *

Wouldn’t it be better to lock them out rather than let them have access at all and you won’t have to install a keylogger. If you leave your computer you can quickly have it enter screen saver or standby that requires an input of a password to to proceed.

Doesn’t work, still deletes the files I need.

And I want to see what they are doing, not lock them out.

Please, post the exactly text (path) you’ve added there.
Maybe booting in between, but it should not be necessary I think.
