I am really getting p****d with this app!
I am trying to remove the anti theft, I recently changed provider but kept the same number. Every time my phone is switched off and back on, my girlfriend receives a text (that charges me by the way) saying that the phone could of been stolen etc. Different sim, same number.
Now when I try to remove the antitheft via the wizard it asks for a pin, I’ve tried every combination of pins that I would of set and none work! I’ve also tried 0000 as mentioned in other posts, doesn’t work. I’ve tried the pin recovery, there’s no number listed. Try to add a number it asks for the bloody pin.
What can you do to help me out?

I don’t see anywhere in that thread that the issue is resolved for everyone, I cannot see anti theft listed anywhere in all apps. Nor will I know what to look for had it been renamed to something else, is there anything in the app details that will “give it away”. I do have an app called ‘one time init’ that may be it, but unfortunately there’s no option to uninstall it.

Right under that message someone said “It worked fine! Thanks!!”

And funnily enough right under that it didn’t work for everyone else!!!

In that tread is exactly written what to do. Just follow the instructions that Werner posted there.
He is from the avast team and knows how to solve it.

Yes and would be helpful if I knew what the ‘disguise-name’ was, there is nothing listed in ‘all apps’ that is doesn’t already relate to another app or system app that is already installed.

Found it, after searching the net for all the different app names listed. Cheers
