Main is still infected badly. Opened topic alert that was just sent and it took over. Will prepare logs for the lap. Tough little sucker.
What problems are you experiencing on the main system
As before-Tumri.net opens upon even opening the mail component in AOL. Also, as before, when I open any mail tumri.net window comes on. I can close it but it quickly re-appears.
Have you cleared the deleted e-mail folder ?

Just opened your topic alert re" your post and Tumri.net page took over. I can close it but it soom reappears. Whatrver email I open, Tumri takes over.
Help!! Something must’ve hit AOL users as I started having the same problem last night and I’ve been on AOL for over 10 years. It’s connected to the email. As soon as I open an email it pops up and won’t go away. I can open my emails thru aol.com on internet explorer with no problem. It’s just the aol software that’s the problem. I also have AVG and it did not remove it. Is there some other software I can run. I’m not savy enough to print out logs, etc. I just want it gone!!
OK so it is related to the way the e-mail client runs in AOL. Looks like they have been hacked again

Club210 do you have another e-mail client that you can use instead of the AOL one ? I.e. Livemail ?
No I really don’t. I’m pretty enmeshed with AOL, pluses and minuses. Susies notion of using the internet backdoor may see me through here.
What is the likelyhood of this thing reappearing if I uninstall AOL-difficult though that prospect is- and start afresh only with my address book intact?
Club210 and any others. I downloaded and ran malawarebytes on my computer. It didn’t show any infections but after I shut my computer down and re-started it the tumi.net seems to be gone. Will report back if it comes back. I would suggest using aol.com to read your email for awhile as that worked for me and use the aol software for web browsing. Thanks Susie
You can leave AOL on the system and use Livemail to collect your e-mail, I have found the MS filter to be very good
