I purchased avast pro and the only way i can get online is to turn avast off. I’m not happy doing that. How can I get online WITH OUT turning it off to keep my computer protected? I’ve read the help answers given and none of them solve the problem.

My firewall, what came on the computer. Had AV free, yes I uninstalled it along with my malwear. What I tried were the answers to the same problem in this forum posted June 12 by greatdane83. Operating system Windows 7. I also cannot get AV firewall to connect.
What anti-virus did you have and how was it removed? Did you reboot?

I had Avast free and the only other security is the pre-installed when I purchased my computer. I uninstalled using the uninstall for Avast before purchasing and installing Avast Pro. I had malware but removed it. The only firewall I have is Windows Defender, the Avast firewall will not start. It pops up shield unreachable. What I tried to get Pro to work were the answers to a similar question posted in the Avast forem June 12 by greatdane83. I hope these are the answers you’re looking for.
