Two Basic Questions

Sorry for asking a couple of questions that may appear to be quite basic. I installed Avast Free v8 on my Mac Book Pro. Questions:

  1. Does Avast atomically start up or do I need to either manually start it or add it to my login preferences?
  2. Does Avast do real time scans?

Both yes on all questions.

It starts up automatically and its a real time scanner. :slight_smile:
