I’ve just been charged twice on my credit card for renewals.
Last year I got a special deal for $19.99 for basic coverage over the free version Avast (reg price $29.99), to use on my laptop with Windows 7 Pro.
Then, in Dec I purchased a new laptop, with Windows 10, and decided to upgrade to Internet Security, for $49.99, with auto-renew.
Currently on my old laptop is the latest free version of Avast.
But my card was charged $19.99 and then another $49.99.
I’m guessing I can only use the product on one laptop, so I’m reserving the IS for my new laptop with Windows 10. But if I’m being charged another 20 bucks for my old laptop, I expect to have a product to use on it other than the free version. Otherwise, you owe me a refund.
I will also be cancelling auto-renew so that I never have to face extra charges on my card again. This isn’t the first time I’ve had to do battle with you guys over charges made to my card, and no product received.
