Not sure where else to ask but two things happened today.
Turning my laptop on a window message asking “Windows Memory Diagnostics” to check if there’s any memory damage. I want to know is there something wrong with my laptop since this showed up? Or is this a very infrequent check sort of deal? And although I should do so, I vaguely recalled there being better tools for this purpose, if so what would that be?
N, B and space bar stopped working for a bit, they worked infrequently but seem to be just fine now. Still I find this concerning.
Other than the above two nothing else seems wrong and it’s running fine. (Although you can definitely bet I’m backing everything up ASAP.)

That is not normal behaviour.
Are you sure it was Windows saying it?
Indeed there is a much better tool.
It is called memtest http://www.carrona.org/memdiag.html
2]
That can be caused by several things.
e.g. driver failure, os error, bad contact etc etc.
I suggest we start with memtest.
Get the bootable version.
Boot it and let it run overnight.
Some problems will only be detected after multiple passes, so I would say let it do 10 or something.
http://www.carrona.org/
has other hardware test tools as well.
You may want to use one or more of them as well if you want to check the entire laptop.
Alright i’ll use Memtest. But before I do, you say overnight but roughly how long does it run give or take? Personally i’d rather run it early in the morning and monitor my laptop during the day than let it run during the night less something drastic happens, but if we’re talking a serious min 7-8 hours i’ll see your point. I’m just worried since that link did mention I should stop it if “red stuff” starts showing up.
And while I don’t have a screenshot (Rebooting since then it didn’t show up) a quick google search found this.
