Please give two versions of a separate 32-bit and 64-bit. it would be better.
Better for who ??? avast works fine now on 32 and 64.
I know, but it would be smaller installers, not 100 mb
But then ppl woudl complain why installer doesn’t work (64bit on 32bit systems) or why program doesn’t work when they’ll want installing 32bit on 64bit systems. Besides, only thing thats 64bit are kernel drivers. 2/3 of the installer size are signatures anyway…
The biggest part of the installer size is used by virus definitions - which would be present in any version, so the theory is wrong.
but it would be better
How exactly would it be better? I don’t think there would be any significant difference worth the effort (size wise).
will be better. because there will be two versions of the smaller downloads
