I have used windows with avast pro for years but am trying out a computer that I install Linux Mint on. So I just installed Avast Home Edition. I know little about linux and have just started learning. I had to fix that engine error but following the thread at the top, I was surprised but I was able to do it. When I open Avast it seems to me this is just a on demand scanner, am I right? If not how do I tell if it is running all the time? Also I can not find a manual like the other version of avast, is there one, where is it? I have it doing a scan right now and so far so good. Thanks sly
