I know this probably sounds like a pretty stupid question, but…
I have avast! 4.8 Home/Pro on my desktop computer and I just recently purchased a Scandisk flash drive with avast! u3 Edition on it. It says that I need to purchase a license key for it. I was wondering if I could use the same license key as I have on my desktop edition, after all they are both the same program (avast!). :-\

you can try to enter the key, but i neither think it will fit nor it will be legal… :
but probably someone else can clear that up for sure…

No, I’m afraid it’s not possible.
(avast! U3 edition uses license files, not license keys like avast! Home/Pro, so you can’t use it anyway.)
