I see that (when using my 1.0.97 U3 avast!) several log files are created, some (or all?) of which look like they’ll grow and grow…shouldn’t there be a ‘setting’ to only keep a certain amount of information so that valuable U3 usb space is not continually eaten up?
Well, the log doesn’t grow that fast, does it? E.g. to reach the size of 1MB, it would have to scan some 50,000 files on-access, which takes quite a long time (unless the drive is used for some very special purposes).
But I agree that this would be a useful feature for one of the next versions.
BTW you can manually truncate the logs by clicking the “Reset Statistics” button on the Summary page.
