Before I left the house for awhile i started updating when I was using a newer computer and some thing like this has happen I could click ctrol alt delete for task manger to come up to help this. it does not work on this old computer I use firefox as a browser
Can some one help me so I don’t have to restart this the hard way.? I have been away from the computer 3 or 4 hours. I started the update left house came back and saw it was not responding.

You’d be better off asking for advice at the Ubuntu forum.
OK i was very busy yesterday and thought that some one here that has help me before might just know the answer. before bed I closed every thing just not able to close the update. I am not sure if it is hard on the computer just keeping it up because of it not responding. it took me a few days here before i figure it out with help from the forum how to get the right site to ask question prober and how to start a new question. thanks you for the site. thanks my guestion is already up there i understood the 1st time i was just trying to be polite. and see while i was waiting to see if some one would answer just to let me know if it was hard on any computer if you cold not closed the right way if it was hard on the computer to just let it run till when ever i get the answer from the ubuntu. i do thak you again and have a good day.

i was gone for a while on and off but no reply yet. i have a little time now so i am going to try to read some on that. i think if i cannot fine the part of the question in my reading, and no reply i will just have to reboot the hard way so it will close, i need to try and update again the os soon
