UI turns off at random times throughout the day

Hi,

Have a Windows 10 PC with Avast Internet Security (paid). Avast keeps turning off. I have done “avastclean” in safe mode, and re-installed.

But Avast keeps turning off - and does not finish a scan. No matter which one I use - it will turn off during the scan and I have to turn it back on. But then the scan says it has finished with no problem found. Help please. I have Avast on my Win8 laptop - no problems there!

Ok tried this.

Al least I got the quick scan to run, and only a few issues. It seemed to be ok, but now 2 1/2 hours later and we get the error “Avast is Down. Something has gone wrong and you are not protected”. Clicked Restart and it appears to restart. We dont get a pop-up that Avast is down, it was only that I went to check on it and it opened as “Down”.

Next suggestion please?

Thanks - I have done that and have a file reference number VRUAS.

Hi Forum…

Any news on this? I havent heard anything - not even a system generated email to let me know someone it looking at it. I see problem alot in this forum, so I know it is not jus tme (and my PC is not a DELL).

Hope I get something to try soon.
