First charge was for $90 for something I didn’t order, renew, purchase, subscribe to or, best part, receive. I tried to contact customer service via phone but it’s non-existent. I then proceeded to make a ticket to which I received a response asking for proof of the charge in my bank account, which I showed them, and to which after a few weeks I have received no response.
Now this week I was charged $59.99 by, you guessed it, Avast, for an unknown, unseen, unwanted, unpurchased product. This time I’m not going to make a ticket. I’m going to call my bank, and then I’m going to research the laws surrounding fraudulent credit card charges and blatant theft by supposed companies.
Ridiculous. Embarrassing for this company. Absolutely unacceptable. Makes me sick.
