I have purchased avast! antivirus for 3 machines and 3 years, I’m having a problem installing it on one of my machine my main machine. I have reported it to Avast and they have emailed my 5 or 6 time asking to use there uninstall tool and re-install I have done this like a dozen times but still the same problem. I have requested for the problem to be looked at by level 2 support but they are no help, the asked me to do the same things as level 1 (they must not read the ticket NOTES ) I advised them that it did not make any deference the asked to install the beta version same problem. I told them of this over 2 weeks ago, since then no-one from support has tried to connect me, I checked my ticked on the avast support site and now my ticket is un-assigned to anyone. I have requested a refund but nothing. WHAT IS GOING ON
what problem do you see when installing it?
did you remove your previous used AV before installing avast?

I too asked for a refund… I never even installed the one license I did purchase. I started emailing on the site on Dec. 26 it was 2 weeks before Vladimir got back to me and told me to install the ticket, I had to then explain 2 more times I just wanted my money back as was stated in the 30 day money back guarantee. Finally I got a confimation that my refund had been approved and would be processed and it could take up to 15 days. Business days of course, well 3 business days later I emailed on the ticket again, Jan. 29 and still have no response and no refund.
WhAT kind of company ONLY has tech support but will not speak to you on the phone about billing issues…
You were told 15 days so why try and contact them after 3 days ???
If you read the dates, I contacted them 3 business days after the 15 business dates had past. Since I posted dates I did not think I needed to be that clear, sorry for the confusion there
Just looking for some help on how to get my money back so I can move on and purchase the software I found to be better and install it on mine and my mother’s computers. The initial purchase of Avast I bought for my mother and she hated it. I wanted to get this done before I have surgery tomorrow which is why I only gave them 3 day after the 15 day had expired. I am having brain surgery and should I not survive it I would have liked to had taken care of this for my mother. Now all I can do is before my 6am surgery stop at an atm and give her money to purchase what she needs. I would have done this before had I had the money. Basically the reason I am so unhappy with all this nonsense is I didn’t want to leave this undone for her. She has no idea about computers except to email and play bigfish games.

International transfers can be rather slow so hopefully your refund is on it way soon.
