I am trying to renew my free Avast protection, however, it only shows me options to purchase a license; there is no option for free 1 year renewal. It says my current protection is “internet security”. Can someone help me?
- Download Avast Free Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe
- Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
- Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
- Reboot.
You can also uninstall your current version of Avast and it will give you an option to converting to the free version.
