Hello, I’m not really sure what the problem is but, yesterday I was on a website which I’m usually on when suddenly Avast! tells me something about a malware attack and that it stopped the attack and all, so I thought everything was alright. So I came back the next day to get on the same website I was yesterday and it just won’t load! I keep getting “server not found” on Firefox, and on other browsers as well. I’ve tried clearing history, cookies, whatever. Restarting my computer, checking to see if the website was blocked (it wasn’t). Nothing seems to be working. I’m really hoping someone can help me with this.
If you can, post the website you are trying to reach as modified this way: hxxp://www.(name of site).com or .org or whatever.
It is important to not post a live link as unsuspecting users here may click that and possibly wind up with an infection.
You also can use the following programs and copy/paste the url’s here in your next reply. Use the world icon in upper right to paste these url’s. These programs usually confirm a detection by Avast! is correct.
We have users here who will analyze the results here for free if they wish.
You can also post an image of the warning dialog box Avast! gave you either by right-clicking Avast! icon and selecting ‘Show last popup message’ and/or by pressing ALT+PrintSystem simultaneously and opening Paint to Paste image in Paint, and then converting to a .jpeg image if it should appear again. Do not save as bitmap as bitmap is too large to attach here.
Here’s the website I’ve been trying to get on: hxxp://www.rs-remake.com
This site is safe. I know people who are actually on it as we speak. It’s just that I can’t get on it, and I’m trying to find out why.
Unfortunately, the “show last popup message” is gray, unclickable. Completely forgot what the warning said, as I paid no attention to it, thinking that Avast! did the job for me. Unable to find the warning.
The only issue that I can think of is an IP block because site was listed on cloudflare watch org
I get a 11004 [11004] Valid name, no data record (check DNS setup) there now with WebBug,
so not much to comment on now,
@Polonus You’re saying I was IP blocked from their website? If so, everything makes sense. But why would they IP block me? @Pondus You can’t access the website either? I thought I was the only one.
I am able to access the site. It looks like the server has experienced downtimes in the past:
18-May-2012 We are online again!
17-May-2012 Server Downtime
@Pondus Like I said, I got a malware attack which Avast! blocked (while being on the site), ever since this, I haven’t been able to access the site.
And I have no idea why, I’m trying to get the site working again for me. Some people that I know are telling me that the site is working just fine for them.
@Donovan Yes, that’s true. But the thing that I don’t get is that the site isn’t down. It’s up and working, people have confirmed this for me. Yet I’m unable to get on it.
I’m thinking that Avast! may have blocked the site for me ever since the malware attack, could this be possible? I went on Avast!'s block list, and it was empty.
Well I tried via a proxy, and there I got: The requested resource could not be loaded. libcurl returned the error:
Couldn’t resolve host ‘wXw.rs-remake.com’ Connect to www.rs-remake.com on port 80 … failed
Error while fetching URL
Not sure whether you guys can get on the site or not, but I know for sure that some people CAN.
And I want to know how to fix this problem for me to be able to get on the site, do you guys got any idea on what to do?
These are the errors I get when I get on the site:
Firefox -
Server not found
Firefox can’t find the server at www.rs-remake.com.
Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
Google Chrome -
Oops! Google Chrome could not find rs-remake.com
Suggestions:
Access a cached copy of rs-remake.com
Search on Google:
Internet Explorer -

Any suggestions on what to do to get this site working for me again?
