FWIW, I am running 6 computers on my network, two running on XP x64 SP2, four on XP pro SP3. The x64 machines run windows firewall, the others zonealarm.
All of them had this problem after the last update to AVAST!.
After editing the ini file with “SunbeltKPFHack=2” they all showed the interface again.

Igor, isn’t it anything wrong into avast code? Why do some users need this workaround? ???
Well, I can’t say for sure because I don’t know this part of the code, but Vlk checked the code some time ago (when it first appeared with Kerio)… and I believe his conclusion was that the problem is “on the other side”.
But if users even had Kerio firewall? ???
Eh eh… nobody knows ‘all’ the code, do they? ;D
