YOU GUYS “UPDATED” MY AVAST AND NOW THE OPTION TO ADD TO EXCEPTIONS WHEN A THREAT HAS BEEN DETECTED IS NO LONGER AN OPTION!!! I CANNOT EVEN USE A SAFE PROGRAM BECAUSE YOUR AV FALSELY CLAIMS THAT IT IS A VIRUS!!! THERE USED TO BE AN OPTION TO ADD TO EXCEPTIONS WHEN A THREAT HAS BEEN DETECTED BUT YOU IDIOTS REMOVED THAT FEATURE AND NOW I CANNOT USE A PROGRAM I NEED TO USE!!!
FIX THIS ASAP!!! IT WAS VERY DUMB OF YOU TO REMOVE THAT FEATURE!!! a
10 PEOPLE VIEWED THIS AND FOUR ARE VIEWING RIGHT NOW AND NOBODY HAS ANYTHING TO SAY ABOUT THIS BULLSHIT??? I CANNOT EVEN RUN THIS SAFE PROGRAM BECAUSE OF THIS SHIT!!!
I’m not entirely sure it has been completely removed, from memory it was only available in certain instances. A long time ago there was no exclusion in alert windows to avoid accidental exclusion of malware.
It would have been handy if you:
Said what the program was and why it was detected (e.g. the malware name, etc.).
Attached a screen of the avast alert.
You don’t say what the version number is of Avast Premier.
There is nothing to stop manually adding an exclusion at your own risk.
You could also send it to virustotal.com and have it manually scanned by multiple AVs.
There is NO NEED TO SHOUT.
Adding an exclusion is present when I tested it with an eicar sample.
You might well be angry, but keep the language down, there is no restrictions on age of those using these forums.
