Unable to autoupdate - Comodo related(?) [Resolved - rejoice!]

Hello!

I decided to change my firewall today and after some research I installed Comodo.

After this I can not seem to get the autoupdate function of avast! to work properly. It says the connection times out. I am able to manually update the VPS just fine.

Initially I tried enabling access to aswUpdSv.exe and other such executive files. It didn’t help, but after some poking around in this very forum I came across this thread:
http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=21627.0
After adding the avast.setup to the list of files that are allowed access I figured all should be well, but the problem persists.

Does anyone have any suggestions on additional steps to take, or better yet, an actual solution?

Thanks in advance

EDIT/UPDATE: It turns out that it was svchost that was being blocked. All is well now! Move along.

Although you have solved, just to point you to the right direction, into the firewall settings, the following programs should be allowed to connect:

C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashWebSv.exe (avast! Web Scanner) (allow server rights; access to ports 80, 443; accept connections from localhost on ports 12080)
C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashMaiSv.exe (avast! e-Mail Scanner Service) (allow email rights: outgoing on ports 110, 25 and 119; accept connections from localhost on ports 12110, 12025, 12119)
C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\Setup\avast.setup (avast! Update executable)

Don’t need rights to connect:
C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashServ.exe (avast! antivirus service)
C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashUpdSv.exe (avast! Update Service)
