Unable to Boot Windows 7 with Avast

I had a heavy Problem with Booting my Windows. It seems that avast was causing this. Windows 7 freezed with every boot on the welcome-screen.

Because of that I did install Windows 7 complete fresh/new.

After I installed Avast the freezes came back. On C: nothing was installed than a few drivers. I want to know that´s wrong with this avast. Heres one of recorded Messages:

German:
Das Laden folgender Boot- oder Systemstarttreiber ist fehlgeschlagen: aswRvrt, aswSnx, aswSP, aswVmm, discache, spldr, Wanarpv6.
English Translation:
Loading of following Boot- or Systemdriver failed: aswRvrt, aswSnx, aswSP, aswVmm, discache, spldr, Wanarpv6.

Today I uninstalled avast an that happens? Windows works again.

  • Which Avast…? (Free/Pro/IS/Premier)
  • Which version…?
  • OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP…?)
  • Other security related software installed…?
  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

I recently had a similar problem: Win7; Online Armor, Avast Free

When booting, up cursor would freeze, no keyboard, no recognition of WIFI. Everything would load and internet connection thru fixed line. Had to off the PC and re boot. Second or 3rd boot OK.

Uninstalled Avast with tool in Safemode and then reinstalled. Been two days now, so far so good.

About an hour ago, a window popped up alerting me that I needed to update Avast! Pro. I clicked the box to update and it told me that it needed to restart my stystem. I clicked to restart, and all I have now is a black screen with a blinking cursor. That’s it. Any resolution? Thank you in advance

I wound up having to boot Windows 7 64 from my original install disk, and use a restore point prior to the update. Now I don’t want to update again.
