Today I installed version 2016.11.2.2261 on my Windows 10. Up to today I had no problems on my computer. But everybody knows there is always a first time. And so, when I wanted to create the rescue disk for CD, Avast started creating the *.iso, but stopped after a short while and said it could not do so. Unfortunately enough it did not tell me why not.
Am I the only one having this issue or is there anything I have overlooked?

I have the same problem on Windows 7 Professional SP1 (64-bit) with the free version of Avast.
Version 11.2.2261 is unable to create the ISO file - the progress bar gets to about 25% then a pop-up announces “Failed to create the Rescue Disk”.
I tried the “Repair” option and it claimed the repair was successful but when I closed that window I got an Avast error message reporting
“Failed to load language dll
language path: 1033\UILangRes.dll”
Previous versions of Avast were able to create the ISO files for Rescue CDs.
