I am new user in this forum and the reason behind here is to get perfect solutions from people like you. i have installed free version of avast which is working well but today when I was clearing temp files there is one file name Webshlock.txt which is unable to delete. When I am trying to delete it gives a message “Unable to delete. This file is shared with someone else”.
Kindly solve my problem. Is it a virus or something else.
Why would you want to delete it, it is an avast file in the avast5 temp folder. It is related to the web shield and whilst you have your browser open and the web shield running this file is required.
When you close avast (or the web shield, not recommended) it removes that file, the avast5 temp folder is where avast unpacks/scan files and when the scan has completed successfully, the other contents of that folder (unp9999999.tmp files) are cleared.
