Unable to deploy to Server

My problem is identical to the following posting:

http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=18314.0

The only thing that I cannot do is create a Network Server Package for deployment, the only option that I have is for the Client. It is my understanding that they are both suppose to be in the same package, and during deployment it then determines whether it is a server or a client machine that it is installing onto.

Any thoughts on this?

Okay, I found out what was going on as far as the server installation package missing. Clicking on the Installation folder on the far left side of the ADNM shows by default the Network Client Package, not the Server version. I added the new package for the server and was able to push it out to the server.

However… ??? The server does not seem to still allow me to install to it. Below is the Remote Install log:

What does the local log file I say?
I mean \JERRY-GOURD1\C$~AVINSTL\Setup.log

Thanks

C$ - Is my root directory
The rest of the story is from the install

Obviously, you’re pushing the “NetClient”, not “NetServer” package.
Exactly as the guy in the thread you quoted – http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=18314.0

Okay, it took me a little while to check into this, and with much looking into it I would like to partially disagree. I had it set to do a server install and NOT a client install. However, since that was your conclusion that I was doing a client install, I decided to recreate it. For some reason it worked after I re-deployed it! I do not know why it worked and did not work the first time, but the main thing is it does.

Thanks so much for your help!
