I need help here. I was not aware that Avast Grime Fighter was in auto renewal, I was surprised to see in my credit card statement that I was charged for the renewal. The date was on March 12, 2015. When I try to manage my subscription so that I can disable the auto renewal, I always get an error message that the email address I’ve entered is wrong or invalid. When I use my email address and the last five digit number of my credit card, I was able to access my order history, but when I clicked on manage subscription, it will ask me again to enter my email address which I do so but when it comes to the password, that’s where my issue start. The email confirmation I received for the renewal does not contain a password which I believe should be included. I need to disable the auto renewal because I no longer want to use Avast, I’ve already switched to Kaspersky.
Thanks for your reply and for trying to help me by providing the link. But before I post my message here, I’ve already tried what is needed to be done. If you have read my message, I have mentioned that after I logged in (to the same link you have provided) and clicked on the order number as well as the manage my subscription button, it will ask me to enter my email address again and the password, I believe that the password should be the one being provided by Avast when they have sent a confirmation email for the purchase/auto-renewal. Unfortunately, there is no password indicated.
I also have the EXACT same problem as texon_jscochuan above. I started a ticket but haven’t heard back yet. There is an obvious problem here. Stay tuned and good luck to anyone else with this issue.
I am having the same problem. Just noticed that the auto-renewal is on my account and I can’t disable. Followed the instructions (Nexway) but it says my email or password is incorrect. I copy and pasted that information from the confirmation email on my order #23307792, because it was giving me an error message. Still didn’t work. Can anybody tell me why?
Thanks mate, they don’t help. It says my email is invalid. Funny because its the same email they used to tell me they will auto renew in 30 days.
Why is it so hard to unsubscribe…oh wait…ah…more money for them.
Requests are processed on a fifo basis first in, first out. Each new submission puts you back to the bottom of the heap.
It takes between 7 and 10 business days for the process to happen. Patience always helps.
Post your last Support reply ticket # here, not your order # and we’ll try to attract some attention to your problem.
Merry Christmas!
