I have been trying to consolidate all our devices to a single account. For the last 48+ hours, whenever I attempt to disconnect a device from its existing account, I get an error message stating that the “Service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.”
I am trying to disconnect using the function on the phone. I removed one device from the web portal but the phone tells me it is still connected to the original account and I can’t get it to disconnect, which means I can’t add it to the consolidated account.
The other 7 devices are still listed on their respective accounts, but again, I can’t disconnect them using the function on the phone.
I moved 47 devices from individual accounts to our consolidated account in the days previous to when I started getting the error message. This beast reared its ugly head about 48 hours ago.
Rebooting the phone has no effect.
Can an avast! representative please give an eta on a resolution to this issue?
I tap on the avst icon on my screen, then Anti-Theft / Set up basic settings / avast! Account / avast! Account.
I get a popup that reads"Do you really want to disconnect from your avast! account" with 2 buttons, “Yes” and “No”. I select Yes and a window opens with a little circle spinning and the word “Disconnecting…” displayed then I get the following error message…
“The service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.”
