OK, my second post and by now I must look like a total dork. But I swear, There’s no way I can change/add any data on my profile.
I’m a female (yeah, GlitterJedi is really a macho man nick), but anyway, if you read my first pathetic post you must have guessed so. :
Also, can we add profile pics here and a brief introduction?
So, wise people of Avast forums, how can I modify my profile?

Hello and welcome
If I am not wrong there is a restriction for editing or doing anything to your profile until you have minimum 20 posts (I’m not very sure) :
XMAS is correct… it’s a part of the antispam policy of the forum.
The problem comes from drive by spammers, who having registered put objectionable or commercial links in their profile signature to try and gain link promotion, etc.
There have also been cases of the PM function being abused to spam forum members, so you will notice that you can’t use the PM function either.
Unfortunately because of the actions of others legitimate members suffer by the actions to prevent this spamming.

Wow, I’m glad I decided to poke around and read some posts. ;D
I tried and tried earlier today to edit my Profile and I thought well, this is really frustrating.
I was going to add an Avatar so I’d look cool too. :
I sincerely hope I don’t meet the 20 post requirement, really hope I don’t have that many questions about using Avast … ;D

Well, you do not have to have a question(s) to make a post or 20. You can make comments in other posts just as you did in this one. And, while reading posts by others, you may be able to add help, additional information, and so forth. Before you know it, you will have 20 or more posts.
Meh. 20 posts? OK, let’s post, if I find anything that I can comment on without getting my PhD on dorkness…

So that answers my question as well. I was going to change my signature to display various programs I use on my computer. Signing in using my password had not done the trick. Will leave the signature like it is till I acquire more posts. Pays to read a few posts.
Ahh I was wondering about that, but I had figured it must have had something to do with spammers, as similar restrictions in place, some even harsher :o to prevent spamming.
And yeah it’s great when you ask a question and people really try to help you out x3
