Customer has 125+ seats of avast! Endpoint Protection, renewed the customer few weeks ago through the portal, received license file, sent to the client, client entered in console, pushed to all clients without a problem except all server products (server 2003 and 2008) tried manual install (after avast cleanup and reboot) on servers same issue. Why?
I expect that the servers are using avast! Server, and NOT Endpoint Protection Suite. If you ordered Endpoint Protection as apposed to Endpoint Protection Suite, then you have the workstation only version.

Many thanks for your response, you are right on, it’s my error, I was a bit confused (and overloaded) when I placed the order, and when I saw “Avast! Endpoint protection” I said that’s it, but it was not the right product, so I have written to avast, hopefully they will advise me how to fix this. Thanks again for your prompt help, Louis
I am dealing with the same problem, I am using Endpoint Protection Suite Plus on a windows 2003 server, I purchased the license from a reseller.
it’s clearly stated on Avast website under system requirement that Avast Endpoint Protection Suite Plus will work on a windows 2003 server .
Could someone explain why I am not able to insert the license for Windows 2003 OS.
I, too, am unable to insert my license file. I requested a duplicate and after downloading via Gmail, I click on it and it reads “Unable to insert the license . …”. I purchased the avast!Pro after using the free version for a year but am having difficulties getting it to work. Any suggestions?
