Unable to install Avast on my Ipaq 1940

Am trying to uninstall the program on my pda >:( It’s response is:

“Uninstall unsuccsessful. The program was not removed because these files are in use or are read-only. Tap Start > Settings > System tab > Memory > Running Programs tab > Stop All and try again.”

I tried it twice and it still would not unistall. Anyone experienced this and successful in uninstalling the file? Please post or email me.

Hello, it was a bug in old version.

Please download & run on your PocketPC this little app: http://sekvoj.buk.cvut.cz/~pkurtin/regfix.exe
it will remove avMonitor key from your registry and it will not run itself next reboot - then you can remove the whole application from your device.
